Vote now in round 3 of the 2023 Close Reads Bracket!
I think I’m going to have to round up more voters who think like me.
I don’t understand how Hunt for Red October got beat out. It was such a close adaptation to the book and in my top 10 of all time movies. It was well acted and had a great cast. I was truly disappointed with the second movie which bore a resemblance to the book only in the title bring the same.
Of course, it’s not a love story or a book one reads as a child so maybe that has something to do with it. 🤷🏻♀️
This is quite an eye opening and puzzling contest. I really want to go and watch all these movies as they appear in the bracket against each other and see what I think. I think it would be surreal considering the pairings.
