I’m dying to find out if the Neapolitan Novels are in the subscriber line up for this year!

I thought I saw this questions somewhere, but now I can't find it. Do we have a detailed reading schedule yet, particularly with respect to the first 2025 book?

I haven’t listened to Mansfield Park yet, so please forgive me for what I’m sure is an obvious question. Who is the author for Betrothed?

It's by Alessandro Manzoni -- and on a previous thread, a few people specifically recommended the edition with the red cover.

Can we bring back Close Reads at the Movies? I really enjoyed that segment. Or David, do you have another podcast in which you discuss movies? Because you should.

I am looking forward to my first full year of being part of this group. Unfortunately, being Canadian, I can’t order from your shop, but we have an excellent independent bookstore in my city.

Looking forward to 2025 reading! Regarding the mysteries - at the episodes mostly stand-alone, or do they reference previous selections?

Stand alone but we do reference past episodes in that we rank detectives and such. but you can always listen as stand alones.

Super excited for the 2025 reading list! There’s a few on here I’ve read that I’d love to revisit (I can’t wait for Piranesi!) and some that fall into the category of classics that have always intimidated me for some reason… looking at you, Wuthering Heights - so I’m looking forward to reading them in good company.

Wuthering Heights used to be my #1 favorite classic until I read David Copperfield, now it depends on my mood when you ask :)
