Hello friends,
We only have a few episodes left in 2024, including our last two episodes on The Great Passion (which will drop the next two Mondays), our monthly mystery (The White Priory Murders), our final episodes on Mansfield Park, and, yes, our annual year-in-reading episode (which will go up on Friday).
Plus, this Thursday, 12/19, we’ll be hosting our monthly live poetry hour at 9 pm for all of you subscribers! We’ll be discussing Cecil Day Lewis’ Christmas poem, “The Christmas Tree.” Hope you’ll join us! We will send out the Zoom link to subscribers on Thursday afternoon.
Oh, and we will also be sharing part two of our ask-us-anything video episode.
But then comes the new year and with it new books and thus new reading schedules, which I know many of you are eager to see. So without further ado here is the order of operations for 2025.
The Weekly Show
As always, exact dates may be subject to change but the order of the books will not be altered.
We will also have several weeks throughout 2025 when we do special one-off episodes in between books. More on that later.

Can we bring back Close Reads at the Movies? I really enjoyed that segment. Or David, do you have another podcast in which you discuss movies? Because you should.
I am looking forward to my first full year of being part of this group. Unfortunately, being Canadian, I can’t order from your shop, but we have an excellent independent bookstore in my city.
