Actually this was a pretty hard choice because I love anything by AAMilne, I detest Hemingway, and A Gentleman in Moscow is a book I'll read again.....and maybe even again along with Kristin what's-her-name. As I'm 93 years old, I may not have the chance to do those two things but since I re-read all of Jane Austen every year and have never re-read anything by Sinclair Lewis I may be given the time for the others.
Wow. I was hardcore with Heidi on the first three, but then Sean chose The Bridge of San Luis Rey, and all bets were off. (BTW, can you guys do that one for Closereads sometime? Maybe you already talked about it; I haven't listened to the episode yet.) Plus, House at Pooh Corner for Wildcard is genius.
