this is heartbreaking. I read my oldest daughter a Winnie the Pooh story every single day for more than a year when she was a toddler. It was her consistent nap time story book. But long before I wandered with her in the Hundred Acre Wood I trekked to Mount Doom with Frodo and Sam. It feels unfair to have to choose between them, like having to choose between two of my children.
well I'm quite relieved really that it didn't come down to Frodo and Sam vs Calvin and Hobbes because that would've been excruciating. I, sadly for me, don't have a deep emotional attachment to Pooh and Piglet/didn't solidly grow up with them and was way more into other things and C&H, so I voted for Frodo and Sam. But I agree with the poeple who said LOTR should be excluded from literary matchups in future! they so often win we need to jsut remove from teh equation please! :)
Thank you again for a fantastic bracket. It always creates lots of fun conversations at home, and my kids love weighing in on the votes. We were all devastated that C & H did not make it to the finals. That duo is one of the best.
Ho Boy! I love Frodo and Sam so Much. My family tells me I am Sam. But I had to go with Pooh and Piglet because I grew up with them, but it WAS NOT an easy choice!

I have called in my children to vote. They say it is unfair and they have tied up our household vote. I have to break the tie now without breaking my soul in the process…

I do think Pooh and Christopher Robin were a better duo than Pooh and Piglet. But oh, this might break me to decide!
