What am I missing with My Fair Lady? I don’t like any of the characters, how Higgins is so old, or Audrey Hepburn (oh yes I said that).

I was pleasantly surprised to see Jurassic Park because I LOVE it, ha! The movies, never actually having read the book. Though I have it so...

Going to start watching more movies...pitiful how many I haven’t seen. Starting with Lonesome Dove!

I could not believe the internal struggle I had between Princess Bride and Babe. I love Babe. So many wonderful childhood associations. But it's The Princess Bride! How could I not? It's maybe 51% more quoted in my house than Galaxy Quest.

These March brackets are a joy! My family fights over them with a great deal of heat and sometimes even some reasons! Thank you!!

Just here to say that I do in fact love Reese Witherspoon and hate Keira Knightley.

Also y’all who picked that Nárnia adaptation (and I love Nárnia!) over Fellowship are crazy. Fellowship whips! Watch the directors cut if you don’t believe me - they basically built middle earth and inhabited it - mind body and soul - for like several years

Much like Donald trump, I will not be respecting the results of this poll. Everyone knows clueless is the best adaptation of any book ever....smh

People like Anne that much?! Jane every time!

It’s the movies, not the books. I will not be shocked if Anne wins this whole thing.

I have only seen one Jane Eyre adaptation and I didn’t like it at all. I LOVED Anne of Green Gables.

Also! I'm so sad that Master and Commander is losing!! That has to be one of my top 10 favorite movies of all time.

My best friend in high school and I made the mistake of renting The Shining for Halloween one year. We didn't even get past the opening credits before we were clinging to each other in terror. That opening music is enough to drive you crazy!!

I voted for Jurassic Park before I read it was against Casino Royale (the best Bond movie, the second best Bond, the best Bond girl, and will happily die on this hill) and would like to switch my vote. Also The Godfather (the film not the book) against anything isn't a fair fight, it should be in a league of its own.

Yeah was hard to know what that one. But couldn’t leave it out.

Robin Hood vs Mary Poppins was painful. My 2 favorite movies as a kid.

Mine, as well! With a third movie added in: Annie. I had every line memorized and had tap dance routines for most of the songs.

Some of these should really be closer to 100 to 0. LOTR and Narnia? P&P and Anna K?

Listen I know everybody hates 2005 p&p but I actually saw it before I read the book (horrors!) and have a real soft spot for it .......that is until I watched Succession and watched mr. Darcy spend three seasons as the fairly pathetic tho admittedly less morally flawed goof of a husband to shiv Roy.....not sure I will ever watch p&p with a straight face again!

All Creatures is a decent tv show, but it's not true to the books like the first series was!

I mean, I still think it's really really good, but it is lacking the sheer humour of the books that I think is what makes the books so memorable. It's a quibble but why I knock it down for adaptation.
