I’m waiting on my book from the library but thought I would share my introduction to Wodehouse as a teen probably around 1986. I’m in NY and there is an old theater that used to be on the vaudeville circuit (it’s even mentioned in the Bertie & Jeeves books when they come to NY). It was refurbished and given new life back then. My mom took me to see a one man show production of one of the books or maybe a compilation of the books? The actor played everyone...aunts, Jeeves, Bertie and most of the set props did something else (I distinctly recall the couch turning into a car by the ends popping open for headlights!). It was so fun and a great introduction to Wodehouse. It’s been my go to “I need a lighthearted laugh” ever since!!
I surprisingly really enjoyed this book. Great Pick!

Happy new year!! I listened to this episode first thing this morning with coffee in hand. It was the best way to start 2024!!
