Will the other talks be posted? I’m especially anxious to hear Heidi’s again. It was so powerful. I would love for those who couldn’t be there to hear it.
Mystery and Manners -- a collection of essays and lectures by O'Connor -- is immensely helpful in understanding both the "why" and the "how" of her fiction. (And it's such a great book, in and of itself!) I'd recommend reading it either before or alongside her short stories.
I hadn’t read anything by Flannery O’Conner until fairly recently either and I started with the short story collection “Everything that Rises Must Converge” because it was covered in the podcast years ago. You can still go back an find the episodes. They were really helpful in understanding her work.

Thank you for posting this. This was my first exposure to Flannery O'Connor and I am eager to read her works. Where would be a good place to begin?
