I somehow completely missed that you’re about to discuss Station Eleven and my excitement for the upcoming pods is now amped up to… well… eleven. It’s one of my favorite contemporary novels. Anyone else here who’s read it who was deeply disappointed in the HBO series?
I saw the HBO series before I knew it was a book and loved it. Then I read the book and loved it. I did like the HBO ending slightly better than the book, but that's b/c it aligned more with what I "wanted" to see.
Also, I realize that had I read the book first , I might feel completely different about this.
I do tend to like my movies to adhere as closely to books as possible.
Regardless, I'm really stoked the upcoming CR conversations about it.

What is the typical dress for the retreat? Casual? Business casual?
Business casual is fine. Nothing too nice. It will vary quite a bit, though, from jeans to dresses.
How far is Goldberry Books from the brewery?
